We are as much part of our clients’ business as they are. We do not believe we are a mere service provider, but instead
we represent active partners within their business. Their success is ours and ours theirs.
Why the name Lion’s Wing?
The name Lion’s Wing was derived through
the recognition of St Mark, who’s evangelical symbol is the winged lion.
The name was chosen for three reasons; the winged lion is easily one of the most recognized icons in the world
representing a person, a belief and a faith across all
boarders; the winged lion
represents a strong and creative
positioning much like the ethos within our business; and the founder of Lion’s Wing was named after St Mark and who
remains close to the founders heart.
The story of Saint Mark is a fascinating one, especially after his death. St Mark was executed in Alexandria and his
remains were left in the city. In 828, two Venetian merchants developed a plan to bring his remains back to Venice for
proper burial. Facing Muslim searches of all goods leaving Alexandria, the merchants layered the relics with pork ensuring
that the Muslim guards would not search through the goods.
In our view, a creative and exceptionally well-executed campaign – the objectives understood, full research done into
all players and an outcome that sees the brand of St Mark blazed across Venice.
Media & Public Relations
Communicating to your target audience is not as simple as what you may think. Your consumer or
user demands that you communicate with them in such a way that you do not waste their time, that
you do it on their terms and that you give them information that is usable and trustworthy. Whether
communicating through newspapers, social media, bloggers, magazines, via radio or TV, or
alternatively communicating wit them directly, messaging and strategic approach are key to whether
your audience believes you or not, or views you as the best brand to meet their needs. As

Direct Communication
Communicating directly to your target audiences has its benefits and risks. You have head of spam,

contravening the laws relating to the consumer protections act and the right you use personal
information, but you will also be doing your brands reputation irreparable damage. Lion’s Wing fully
understands the legal requirements of direct communication implementation, but further knows how to
use strategic thinking and creativity to engage with your target audiences on a level where they will
appreciate your brad sending them a message, email or letter that is perfectly positioned to their
need. Contact us should you wish to receive more information on how your business could
utilise the power of direct communication to build a stronger relationship and reputation within your
target audience.

radio, television, print, online or press. With a firm strategic perspective as to what channel would
work best to meet the brand requirements, we will develop the appropriate strategy and media placement
plan so that your brand reaches the audience and activates the call to action. Contact us
should you wish to receive more information on how you’re an effective and strategically lead media
plan can direct your advertising plan to achieve the best results.
